Job Summary:
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to produce scalable cloud-native software solutions using React and Node.js. You'll be part of a cross-functional team that's responsible for the full software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment and operation.
As a Full Stack JavaScript Engineer, you will be responsible for both single page application development using React and REST API development using Node.js, leveraging industry leading development frameworks and libraries. Applicants must be comfortable working with Agile methodologies in a distributed team with an eye for detail and a knack for visual design.
Primary Duties:
- Work with development teams and product managers to conceptualize software solutions
- Design and implement appealing user interfaces
- Design and implement REST and WebSocket APIs
- Design and manage databases
- Write automated tests and perform manual testing
- Troubleshoot and debug issues
- Write technical documentation
Skills and Qualifications - 6+ years experience developing web applications using React
- 6+ years experience designing and developing REST APIs using Node.js and Express.js
- Experience with data modeling and both SQL and NoSQL database systems
- Experience working with Git and GitHub
- Lambdas, API integration, TestIM
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
